About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and energetic Membership & Sales Consultant to join the World Gym team. This role is all about driving membership growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and building strong connections within the community.

You'll be responsible for achieving personal and club sales targets through proactive lead generation, outreach, and world-class customer service. This is a results-driven role designed for someone who thrives on challenges, loves the fitness industry, and wants to be rewarded for their performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Membership Growth

• Achieve and exceed monthly membership sales and revenue targets.
• Deliver engaging and persuasive tours of the club to convert prospects into members.
• Close sales through in-person, phone, and online channels with confidence and professionalism.
• Maintain a deep understanding of membership products, promotions, and pricing structures.

Lead Management & Follow-Up

• Manage all inbound leads through CRM systems, ensuring prompt and professional follow-up.
• Contact all new enquiries within 24 hours and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle.
• Nurture leads that don't convert immediately, build trust and follow up with persistence.
• Track all leads, conversions, and outreach efforts accurately for reporting and accountability.

Outreach & Community Engagement

• Conduct daily outreach activities including corporate visits, business partnerships, street teams, and local events to generate fresh leads.
• Represent World Gym professionally in the community, building strong relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations.
• Assist with in-club and external promotional events to increase brand awareness and membership interest.

Customer Experience

• Deliver exceptional service to all members and prospects — ensure every visitor feels welcomed, valued, and supported.
• Assist members with account inquiries, upgrades, and renewals.
• Collaborate with the wider team to maintain a positive, high-energy environment in the club.

Teamwork & Accountability

• Work closely with management and the sales team to achieve club-wide targets.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and training sessions to improve skills and performance.
• Take initiative in presenting creative ideas for marketing, promotions, and lead generation.

Expectations & Performance Standards

• Daily sales focus — all activity (calls, tours, outreach) is tied directly to membership growth.
• Lead follow-up — no lead left uncontacted or untracked.
• Outreach target — minimum of new outreach contacts per day.
• Pipeline management — maintain consistent communication with all warm leads.
• Team contribution — support club events, marketing activations, and challenges.
• Professionalism — always represent the World Gym brand with integrity, enthusiasm, and energy.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in sales, fitness, retail, or customer service (preferred but not essential).
• Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident and professional phone manner.
• Self-motivated with a "hunter" mentality — driven to find and close opportunities.
• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
