The Role

As a Sleep Study Scorer, this role will contribute to comprehensive sleep disorder evaluations. Reporting to the Senior Scorer, the main responsibilities include analysing and scoring raw polysomnographic data based on AASM guidelines, and preparing accurate, proofread draft reports for review by Sleep Physicians.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Analyse and score raw polysomnographic data following AASM guidelines

  • Prepare and proofread draft sleep study reports for Sleep Physicians

  • Collect and integrate patient information to meet specific needs

  • Assess physiological calibrations and make adjustments as necessary

  • Identify sleep stages, EEG arousals, respiratory events, limb movements, and oxygen saturation perturbations

  • Assist with system testing, template generation, and workspace review

  • Participate in scoring concordance programs and staff meetings

Are you a MATCH?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science (advantageous but not essential)

  • Experience as an overnight sleep-study assistant (preferred)

  • RPSGT certification or similar

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work autonomously

  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software (Remlogic, Philips Sleepware G3, Google Suite)
