The Position
Troocoo is proud to partner with an established manufacturing company in Brisbane's southern suburbs to recruit a Buyer on a 3-month temporary contract with the potential to go permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinate and process purchase orders within company systems, accurately and promptly.
  • Obtain quotes and liaise with suppliers on the supply of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Manage suppliers and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving invoicing discrepancies and supplier performance concerns.
  • Forecast demand requirements for material purchasing.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communication.

Skills & Experience
This position is ideal for someone immediately available, enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and has strong communication skills.

You will have seen success in your previous positions because of your strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes, and accuracy in recording information. This position is ideal for a team player with good relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in a Purchasing, Buying, or Procurement position.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Experience in purchasing materials such as steel, aluminium, and timber will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
