Seeking CHPP Operator Maintainers to join our growing Coal Mine

Middlemount Coal Pty Ltd is an incorporated joint venture between Yancoal Australia and Peabody PCI Australia.  The mine produces approximately 4 million tonnes of medium-volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal and semi-hard coking coal for the export market.

Key Requirements:

· Maintain and repair the components of the CHPP Department during scheduled maintenance periods and as required

· Perform first response breakdown as required

· Ensure cleanliness in all areas of the CHPP

· Comply with site procedures, instructions and original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) specifications and limitations to ensure effective use of equipment and achievement of safety targets

· CHPP operations experience which includes loader and Stockpile dozer operations

· Demonstrated ability to operate in a safe manner

· Sound communications skills and a good sense of priority and urgency

· Positive can-do attitude

To be considered you will have:

· A Mechanical or Electrical trade background (essential)

· Previous authorisation for "stockpile dozer operations" at another mine

· Cat D10 or D11 operating experience

· Have a proven understanding of the associated safety risk and hazards of a coal handling and process environment
