What's the role?
Join a dynamic team working toward becoming Australia's favourite way to Pay and Borrow. As a Technology Analyst, you'll transform data into actionable insights that empower leaders to make informed decisions and drive strategic outcomes. This role sits within the Digital Consumer Finance team, focused on delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions and supporting the bank's vision of being the best bank in the pocket.

Key Responsibilities

• Use Power BI and Excel to visualize data and communicate insights effectively.
• Use data visualization software such as Power BI and Excel to communicate insights or help to tell a story about the data.
• Minimise risk by providing suggestions or improvements via greater standardisation, speed, simplicity or automation of Analysis/Data and Campaign processes
• Identify and help define opportunities to create new business insights.
• Identify opportunities to refine, enhance, and produce the existing analytics and reporting solutions.
• Research business problems and assist in creating solutions to help mitigation
• Maintaining documentation & contributing to the existing knowledge and process library documentation, usually via a team or Confluence/JIRA site
• Build, maintain and deepen relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to work in an Agile team environment and embed best practice and ideas within this team
• Work collaboratively with the project team, to foster a culture of learning with a relentless focus on continuous improvement & support the project when needed.
• Ensuring adherence to Group framework in compliance with Data, Finance and Group Transformation.
• Perform complex analysis tasks to support the realisation of stakeholders needs.

What do I need?
Essential:

• Passion for data visualization and storytelling through insights
• Strong data literacy, including understanding of database fundamentals
• Proficiency in Power BI and Excel
• High attention to detail

Desirable:

• Engineering degree
• Experience in complex technology environments
• Strong finance acumen

Capabilities:

• Commercial acumen
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-organised and proactive work style
