Your EmployerOur client is a well-respected company in the HVAC market, supplying to dealer networks, retail channel partners, distributors and builders. This organisation has a strong brand to leverage, an evniable new product pipeline and good customer relationships are in place, they are positioned for further growth across both residential and commercial markets.
Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking a commercially driven sales leader to sit in this national role, develop the master plan and strategy for the residential market, and lead key account relationships and negotiations across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop commercial plans to drive national revenue and margin outcomes
- Manage and grow national key accounts and trade distribution partners
- Work with state teams to ensure execution on sales strategy and customer support objectives
- Mentor and coaching of sales staff
- Lead category, pricing, promotional and strategic negotiation discussions with channel partners
- Support product and marketing teams with launch, activation and sales training
- Track competitor activity and emerging market trends
- Travel interstate for customer meetings and joint sales calls
Who Are You?
- An experienced Sales Manager (National or State Manager), or Key Account Manager
- Ideally, you have experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hardware or consumer durables/appliances
- Strong commercial negotiation skills with the ability to lead national sales strategies and execute through the sales team
- Relationship-driven communicator, capable of influencing internally and externally
- Comfortable with both strategic planning and hands-on customer engagement
