Role Details:

Routes: Collecting from our Customer network delivering to Visy sites in Brisbane.

Locations: Based out of Gibson Island location

Hours: 5AM Start Mon-Friday + Weekend work available

What you'll do:

  • Operating Heavy Rigid waste collection vehicles performing collections of Recyclable materials from our network of Customers, Depots and Reverse Vending Machines throughout Greater Melbourne and Visy's CDS Northern Zone
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
  • Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials, maintaining adherence to schedules.
  • Accurately complete in-cab electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
  • Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.

What You Will Bring:

  • A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
  • Previous experience with multidrop, tautliners, flatbeds or waste collections vehicles.
  • Sound knowledge of the Greater Melbourne area.
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
  • A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
  • Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
