About the role

Cooltrans is seeking an experienced Interstate MC Driver to join our team. This role will involve 2-3 trips per week, transporting goods from our Dandenong South depot direct (dock to dock) to a single interstate destination and direct return. Flexibility and a strong safety focus are key to success in this position.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating large commercial vehicles (MC license required) to transport goods between Victoria and interstate locations
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
  • Adhering to all relevant road rules, transport regulations and company policies
  • Maintaining an accurate work diary and providing timely updates on deliveries
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

  • Valid MC driver's licence with a minimum of 5 years' experience operating large commercial vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of road rules and transport regulations
  • Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
