Job Description

About the role- Full-time, permanent Role

AutomationTest Analyst
  • Design, develop, and maintain modern object-oriented automation frameworks, ensuring alignment with enterprise-defined test architecture and standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on automation strategy and tooling to support the effective execution of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Contribute to the creation of automation test scopes, plans, and scripts across both project initiatives and BAU activities.
  • Develop and maintain automation test assets using Java, TypeScript, Rest Assured, Tosca, and Postman, with reusability across Unit, System, SIT, UAT, and PVT testing phases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review and provide feedback on requirements, architecture, and design documents, ensuring completeness, correctness, traceability, and testability.
  • Identify, prioritize, and automate manual functional test cases to improve efficiency and consistency in test execution.
  • Define and create automated test data aligned to test objectives and environments.
  • Execute manual and automated end-to-end testing, identifying and managing defects through the Enterprise Defect Process.
  • Use exploratory testing techniques to supplement automation efforts and uncover hidden issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot test environments and test execution in distributed cloud environments, ensuring timely resolution and performance optimization.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify shortcomings in test processes, tools, and environments, providing pragmatic and cost-effective recommendations for improvement within the Enterprise Test Practice.
  • Promote quality and compliance by providing guidance on test standards, governance, templates, and best practices to project and delivery teams.
  • Actively contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, reporting hazards or incidents and supporting physical and psychological wellbeing.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, promoting a culture of risk awareness and applying mitigation strategies where applicable.
