About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our Mobile Services team at Invicta Mill. As a Diesel Fitter, you'll be working in a dynamic environment, maintaining and repairing our critical locomotive fleet and mobile plant. This is a permanent position which will require shift work during the Crushing Season (June-Dec) and daywork during the Maintenance (Jan-May). You'll have the chance to dive into a role that offers both challenges and rewards, making a real impact in an industry that's unlike any other.

Your Qualifications & Experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Diesel Fitter) or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
  • Proven experience in servicing and repairing diesel engines and mobile plant, with a strong background in heavy industrial work.

Desirable (but not essential) Skills:

  • Hydraulics
  • Dogman Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Confined Space Ticket
  • Working at Heights Ticket
  • Construction Card
  • Overhead Crane Ticket
  • Welding Skills
