Workfast is looking for Fixed Plant Fitters to join a large infrastructure and asset services project based in Oxley, Brisbane, QLD.

We operate nationwide, and our employees work across a wide range of industries. We are actively seeking dedicated Fixed Plant Fitters to join our Mechanical Maintenance Team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and servicing on fixed plant equipment
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical components
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown support
  • Ensuring all work is completed to WHS standards
  • Working alongside production teams to minimise downtime
  • Accurate documentation of maintenance tasks and reporting of issues

What You Bring to the Team

  • Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights
  • Prior experience as a Fixed Plant Fitter or similar mechanical role
  • Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter or equivalent)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to support the team when required
  • Commitment to workplace safety and professionalism
