Join Gidgee Healing — an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service delivering holistic, culturally safe care across North West Queensland. We're seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to provide high-quality, client-centred therapy supporting individuals and families to improve physical wellbeing and function.

About the Role

  • You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health team to:
  • Deliver assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation programs for clients with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Undertake outreach visits to remote communities as required.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to deliver integrated, culturally responsive care.
  • Support capacity-building initiatives for community and clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to continuous service improvement.

About You

  • You are a compassionate and adaptable professional who thrives in a team environment. You will bring:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, or chronic disease management.
  • Strong cultural awareness and commitment to working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Current driver's licence and ability to travel to outreach locations.
