Hotel Receptionist

We're looking for a Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our busy and well-loved Flag Motor Lodge. The rotating roster will include shifts based on company needs, between the afternoon / evening / night. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly, always with a positive attitude
• Assist with reservations, manage booking systems, and ensure smooth guest arrivals
• Provide local information, recommendations, and helpful services to guests
• Handle guest requests efficiently and resolve any issues with a calm, proactive approach
• Maintain an organized and clean front desk area
• Ensure all guest information is kept secure and confidential
• Perform various administrative duties as needed
• Drive the motel's airport shuttle service, ensuring timely and safe transportation for guests to and from the airport
• Assist guests with luggage and ensure shuttle rides are comfortable and stress-free
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant teams as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, focused team
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable handling a shuttle vehicle and assisting guests with luggage
• Flexible with the ability to work varied hours, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
• Friendly, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile for guests
