Joining the Quality team and reporting to the Quality Manager, the Site Surveyor will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our piling operations on our projects from project mobilisation to completion.

is an experienced Site Surveyor with a strong background in construction surveying. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceeding expectations. Where you'll be working

Joining our Broadsound QLD team initially, then mobilising to our projects across country. You may be required to travel between active projects across the country throughout your employment.

3 Weeks on, 1 week off roster (Monthly)

Main duties and responsibilities

·       Initial survey set up of new construction sites, including multiple bases, rovers and GPS operated machinery

·       Evaluate survey data and compare with coordinates/designs provided by client, to ensure suitability for pile installation

·       Prepare custom coordinate sets for different site activities

·       Oversee GPS controlled machinery (ensure connectivity and accuracy, communicate errors to manufacturer, etc)

·       Manage all surveying equipment such as base, rover, total station

·       Upskill quality assurance team to have basic surveying knowledge

·       Lead team of up to three survey assistants, conducting stake out

·       Prepare and analyse piling as-built data, create punch lists for rectification team

·       Collaborate and working closely with engineering and quality assurance team

·       Assisting Quality team as necessary

Experience and qualifications

·       Current drivers' licence

·       Construction White Card

·       Must hold a relevant Qualification - Diploma or Bachelor of Surveying

·       Previous experience surveying in civil construction (Solar preferred)

·       MS Office proficiency particularly excel

·       Experience with GPS controlled machinery (eg piling, drilling rigs, mobile plant)
