QA Assistant

We are a West Australian owned and operated company supplying fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as fresh mixes, dressed salads, and customised products. Responsibilities

· Assist in maintaining our Quality Management Systems adhering to compliance with HACCP

· Conduct daily pre-operational hygiene inspections and assessments of all production staff engaged in the food processing operations

· Provide ongoing training and development of all employees concerning product quality and compliance with GMP

· Complaint investigation and management

· Maintain QA documentation including SOP's, checklists and records

· Support internal and external audits, including preparation and co-ordination

· Co-ordinate laboratory testing, retention sampling and analysis to verify quality and safety

· Perform environmental swabbing

· Identify and champion process improvements and be a key player in our continuous improvement journey

Skills & Experience

· Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.

· HACCP and GMP knowledge

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to interact with people on all levels and nationalities

· Ability to work under pressure and time constraints while still performing their tasks efficiently

· Possess excellent problem solving skills and the ability to come up with corrective actions

· Strong attention to detail
