Join Our Team as a Catering Assistant: Make a Difference in Providing Quality Care
We are looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to provide a timely, efficient, and effective catering service within our health unit. In this role, you will assist with the preparation, service, and delivery of meals to clients, ensuring they receive nutritious and well-prepared food.
About the Role:
As a Catering Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of our clients by delivering high-quality catering services. Your duties may include:
- Preparing and serving meals according to client needs and preference.
- Delivering food to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Supporting operations in various areas of the health unit, including the kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping.

What We're Looking For:
- Limited experience in providing a catering service.

- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
