We're looking for a suitably experienced Cook to join our team at Sushi Cuckoo in Rockingham, bringing fresh and quality Japanese cuisine to the Rockingham area and surrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparing and cooking a range of Japanese meals (sushi, rice bowl, bento, curry, yakisoba, udon, ramen etc.) with a focus on quality and consistent preparation and presentation.

· Deep frying, pan/stir frying, rolling sushi and using other kitchen equipment and utensils. Requiring strong knife skills and ability to handle multiple orders at once.

· General cleaning (washing dishes, sanitising) and pantry duties to keep restaurant neat and operating efficiently.

· Cooperating with other staff to prioritise the customer experience.

Previous / similar experience and an interest in Japanese cuisine is ideal.

Employment Type – Full Time, Part Time or Casual (to be negotiated dependent on previous experience and availability)

Pay and Conditions - as per the Restaurant Industry Award 2020 and experience level.

Working hours are negotiable, between 10am to 9pm, Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesday & public holiday).

Pay: From $25.85 per hour
