BASE3D is a leading and well-established 3D rendering studio based in Bondi Junction. We specialise in producing photorealistic 3D architectural render for architects, developers, and designers across Australia.

Role Overview

We're seeking a talented and proactive Architectural Assistant / Project Manager to join our friendly and collaborative team. In this role, you'll be the vital link between clients and our 3D artists, overseeing the production of 3D renders while also playing an important part in onboarding new jobs and providing excellent customer service. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of residential and commercial projects, helping to shape the visual outcomes that win projects and inspire clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management:

  • Manage the full production process of 3D renders, from initial client brief through to final delivery.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring projects stay on track.

  • Coordinate with our internal team of 3D artists and modellers to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality outcomes.

  • Track project timelines and deliverables, ensuring all deadlines are met.

• Architectural Support:

  • Interpret architectural plans and documentation, ensuring accurate translation into 3D visualisations.

  • Offer input on materials, finishes, and design intent to help guide realistic render outcomes.

• Customer Service & Onboarding:

  • Assist in new sales and job onboarding, providing friendly, knowledgeable support to prospective clients.

  • Help clients understand our process and provide accurate project quotes and timelines.

  • Build strong relationships with new clients and ensure a seamless start-to-finish experience.

Skills & Experience

• Architectural degree or relevant experience (essential).

• A keen eye for design and detail, with the ability to interpret plans and visualise spaces.

• Excellent communication skills — confident speaking with clients via phone and email, and clear in project instructions.

• Strong project management abilities — juggling multiple tasks and keeping things running smoothly.

• Friendly, helpful, and proactive nature — clients and team members will look to you for guidance and solutions.

• Experience in or knowledge of 3D rendering processes is a bonus, but not essential — training will be provided.

• Familiarity with Australian residential and commercial architectural practices will be viewed favourably.
