About the role

We are seeking a part-time Family Lawyer (1–3 years PQE) to join our growing Family Law team, working closely with our Law Society Accredited Specialist in our Hornsby office.

You'll have exposure to a broad range of family law matters, including parenting, property/financial settlements, binding financial agreements, divorce, and urgent and interim applications. You'll draft high-quality documents, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategy on active files.

    Hornsby (in-person)
  • Load:
    5 days per fortnight (3/2 arrangement), with scope to increase
  • Flexibility:
    Part-time with genuinely supportive, family-friendly flexibility
  • Remuneration:
    Commensurate with experience

What we're looking for

  • 1–3 years' post-admission experience in family law.
  • A genuine passion for family law and client care.
  • Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Commercial awareness, including comfort working to realistic budgets and timeframes.
  • An interest in pursuing Specialist Accreditation (when eligible).
