The Opportunity

Our client is a well-known logistics and distribution provider. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience and learn from industry leaders. The primary purpose of this role is to provide management support for the outbound team. This position is offered as a casual employment opportunity with Monday - Friday hours.

Available Shift Times

  • AM Shift | 6am-2pm
  • PM Shift | 2pm-10pm
  • Night Shift | 10pm-6am

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the outbound team to ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders in accordance with company standards and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor outbound processes to maintain high levels of order accuracy and quality, conducting regular checks to minimize errors and returns
  • Coordinate team tasks, allocate resources effectively, and identify bottlenecks to improve throughput and meet daily outbound shipment targets.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing warehouse safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to build a skilled, motivated outbound team focused on continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with inventory, inbound, and logistics teams to resolve issues, streamline outbound processes, and support overall fulfillment goals.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and managing teams to meet objectives (Team size: approx. 66 people per shift)
  • Proven ability to manage staff performance effectively
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills, including the ability to priorities and manage multiple tasks
  • Sound understanding of Supply Chain Operations and Distribution Centre processes
  • Flexibility to adapt to business needs, including changing shifts and working days
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience and deliver results under pressure
  • Availability to work at least 1 day over the weekend
  • Available asap start
