The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and transporting variable message signs (VMS) to various locations, ensuring timely setup and removal, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and transport VMS units to designated locations.
• Set up, operate, and remove VMS in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues with VMS equipment as needed.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience towing trailers a plus.
• Familiarity with VMS equipment and setup procedures is a plus but not necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use a computer to update VMS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• ensure a safe and productive work environment, all candidates will be required to undergo and pass regular drug testing as part of the hiring process and throughout their employment.
