About Us:

NurseLink Healthcare is a trusted nursing agency providing high-quality staffing solutions across aged care, hospitals, and community settings. We are expanding our home care services in Geelong and are looking for compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team.

About the Role

As a PCA, you will support clients in their homes to live independently with dignity and respect. Your role will include providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
  • Support with meal preparation and light domestic duties
  • Assist with medication prompts (as required)
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Follow individual care plans and report any changes in client needs
  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in home care, aged care, or community support preferred
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid and CPR certification (current)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (in line with government requirements)
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
