Professional Nanny

Location: West End, Inner Brisbane

Days: Wednesday to Friday (approx. 9:30am – 5:30pm on Wed/Thu, 8:30am – 5:00pm on Fri)

Rate: Commensurate with experience and qualifications (Casual or Part Time available)

Start Date: Flexible

We are a professional executive family based in West End seeking a mature, experienced, and highly capable nanny and household manager to help care for our one-year-old daughter and oversee the day-to-day running of our household.

We're looking for someone warm, organised, and dependable — a person who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautiful, calm, and well-run home while providing attentive, nurturing care.

About the Role:

This is a combined nanny and household management position for three days per week (Wednesday to Friday). You will be responsible for ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently, including:

• Day-to-day household upkeep — cleaning, making beds, washing, folding, and putting away laundry
• Maintaining organisation throughout the home and assisting with errands as needed
• Preparing simple, healthy family meals and snacks
• Creating a calm, supportive environment for our family

In caring for our daughter, we are seeking someone with strong experience and confidence in:

• Infant and toddler routines, especially sleep and settling
• Supporting healthy eating habits and transitions to solids
• Engaging play, gentle stimulation, and developmentally appropriate activities

What We're Looking For:

• Significant professional experience caring for babies and toddlers
• A mature, reliable, and nurturing approach
• Excellent organisation, initiative, and attention to detail
• Discretion and professionalism in working with an executive family
• A Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and current First Aid/CPR certification
• Qualifications in nursing, midwifery, or early childhood education are highly regarded

Hours: (Flexibility available for the right person.)

• Wednesday: 9:30am – 5:30pm
• Thursday: 9:30am – 5:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
