We are currently seeking a Debrief Clerk to join our day shift from 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role responsible for managing the debriefing of deliveries, verifying contents and documentation accuracy.

Duties required however are not limited to the following:

• Managing the debriefing of deliveries
• Verifying documentation
• Scanning, coding and label printing
• Recording discrepancies
• Ensuring accurate POD are issued and returned
• Supporting the warehouse team with administrative tasks
• Communicating with the Warehouse and other departments to ensure any dispatch matters are dealt with and managed as required in a timely manner.
• Check incoming goods to ensure correct items and quantities have been received
• Reporting of damaged freight and shortages
• Document and record the contents of all shipments incoming and outgoing
• Unpack, code and allocate goods to the correct storage areas
• Maintain records of stock levels and movements
• Ensure all shipments meet relevant customer requirements and legislative regulations

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential

• High attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to work under timeline pressures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role of data entry / freight checking
• Warehouse environment experience

Desirable

• Certificate in Warehousing & Logistics is beneficial however not essential
• LF Forklift license is advantageous
• Experience using SAP
• Experience in freight scanning
