About the role
Tetris Group is seeking an experienced Pressure Welder to join our team based in Emu Plains, NSW. This is a full-time role where you will use your expertise in pipe welding to contribute to the successful completion of our projects.
What you'll be doing
- Perform pipe welding to high standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols
- Read and interpret technical drawings to guide your welding work
- Collaborate with the broader construction team to coordinate your work and meet project deadlines
- Maintain welding equipment and consumables, identifying any issues or maintenance requirements
- Contribute your expertise to continually improve welding processes and techniques
- Ensure a safe working environment by following all health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in pipe welding, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- Significant experience as a pipe welder, ideally in the construction or manufacturing industries
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the wider project team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
