Live Streaming / Digital Events Technician (Experienced AV / Audio Focus)

Full-time | Ultimo, Sydney | Office on-site and Events on-location

For the experienced AV technician ready to bring their skills in live sound, streaming, and event content to a growing production team.

Create Engage is a tight-knit team of live streaming, video production and event content pros based in Sydney, producing live, virtual and hybrid events across Australia and beyond. From live streamed conferences and webcasts to creative event video, we help clients connect with their audiences in engaging ways.

What You'll Do

  • Run live streams and event recordings, including setup, show operation and pack-down.
  • Support hybrid and virtual event delivery, including integrating remote speakers.
  • Assist with video production, editing and camera operation where required.
  • Contribute to pre-production planning, technical schematics and production briefs.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues calmly and effectively on-site.

You Might Be

  • An AV technician with proven live audio/sound experience, looking to expand further into streaming and event broadcast.
  • Someone with foundational experience working on live, hybrid and virtual events.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of technical delivery while collaborating with a small team.
  • Driver's licence holder – essential for this role (please do not apply without one).
  • Calm under pressure and capable of adapting quickly to changing show conditions.

Bonus Points For

  • Knowledge of vMix, Wirecast, or similar live production software.
  • Experience with editing and post-production workflows.
  • Background in video production or camera operation.
  • IT/networking familiarity to support connectivity for streaming.
  • Ability to work in small team and autonomously.
