AccSense is a dynamic and growing business based in Northcote, VIC. We specialise in management accounting and bookkeeping services for the motor industry, as well as a range of other sectors. We're now seeking a skilled Payroll & Accounts Administrator to join our team.. This role offers flexibility with part-time or full-time hours, and a hybrid work arrangement.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing payroll processes and supporting our finance operations for multiple clients. You'll ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery, maintain compliance, and assist with general accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients and their employees
- Maintain employee records including leave, superannuation, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
- Respond to payroll queries and provide support to staff
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
- Support month-end reporting and general ledger tasks
About You
You're detail-oriented, organised, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. You take pride in delivering accurate work and are confident managing multiple priorities.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years' experience in payroll administration
- Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g. Unipay, Microkeeper, Xero, MYOB)
- Strong Excel and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
- Ability to pass employment screening including reference and background checks
