The role of a Chef is to provide the highest level of customer service by means of quality and consistency of food, value for money, presentation, staff leadership and development. The Chef will work in conjunction with the Head Chef and to fulfill the operational requirements of the business.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
- Qualified Chef with trade certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in Australia
- Must be available 4 days to us - including Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunch and dinner periods
- Participating & performing all food preparation and cooking duties.
- Inspecting food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices.
- Complying with procedures relating to the catering stock control system, including receipt, issue, storage and rotation of goods and maintaining of par levels,
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly routine cleaning and preventative maintenance duties.
- Conducting all opening, operating and closing duties.
- Providing feedback and suggestions on Food and Beverage menus.
- Ensuring effective communication with the team.
