The Restaurant Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. They maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensure guest satisfaction, and follow all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.

  • Interact with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, tools, and glassware.

  • Check identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.

  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system.

  • Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism.

  • Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and act responsibly.

  • Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen to ensure smooth service.

  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting.

  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, spirits, wines, and beer.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

  • Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol.

  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Bartending certification.

  • Knowledge of mixology and cocktail trends.
