We currently have an opportunity for a casual cleaner . Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in providing a range of cleaning service in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. The position is in Nedlands and we are looking for someone that can work various shifts to cover leave.
What You'll Do (key responsibilities)
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- General cleaning duties, including but not limited to: Sweeping, Vacuuming, Dusting, Emptying Bins, Rubbish Removal
- Cleaning of spillages and liquids/oils
- Waste disposal duties
- Driving and control of cleaning machine
The role involves manual handling and lifting and may require incumbents to stand for lengthy periods and work in hot or noisy environments.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in commercial cleaning preferred but no required
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Knowledge of chemical use, storage and handling
- Safe Manual Handling practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
- Team member – works effectively as a member of a team and assist others with completion of duties to ensure all daily tasks are completed on time.
More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
**Please note, as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to complete work rights check, pre-employment medical check, Working with Children Check, AFP National Police History certificate and reference checks.
