About the role

This permanent, full-time Data Analyst role at Property Analytics represents an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career while working collaboratively with the company Director. Leverage your technical Tableau expertise to deliver data-driven insights across the real estate industry. Based in our Ivanhoe, VIC office (with flexible work-from-home options), you will play a key part in extracting value from complex datasets and providing actionable intelligence to clients in every Australian state.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and further developing our comprehensive data warehouse that integrates diverse datasets including property, demographic, points of interest, school performance, etc

• Automating and maintaining data processes with multiple programs including AWS, dbt, Snowflake, Python, Tableau and various APIs

• Building sophisticated dashboards and embedding them onto various web platforms for B2C and B2B uses

• Exploring and analysing large datasets with clear direction from the Company Director, working towards short- medium- and long-term business strategies

• Collaborating with third party data providers and consultants, and delivering on a range of business client and consumer requirements

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, and/or Data Scientist

• Strong fundamentals in Tableau, Snowflake and other data management and intelligence technologies, and a demonstrated ability to learn and implement different programming languages

• Experience translating business requirements into data-driven solutions using multiple tools and platforms

• Genuine enthusiasm for data analytics and for uncovering unique insights

• Proven track record of conceptualising complicated insights and statistical concepts in ways that common people can understand

• Comfortable working independently and taking on real responsibility
