About this opportunity

ICC Sydney are looking to recruit Casual Event Setup Team Members to join our extraordinary, world class team.

You will assist in the setup of our event spaces as we create extraordinary guest experiences delivering a variety of events ranging from a bespoke VIP event for 20 guests, to gala events of up to 2000+ attendees, trade exhibitions and live theatre events.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver ICC Sydney's set up, bump in and bump out requirements to tight deadlines and high standards.
• Assist with the moving, lifting, and positioning of assets to ensure all rooms and event spaces are set up, and ensure all rooms are set and maintained correctly.
• Interpret and follow event documentation including, but not limited to, work orders and floorplans to ensure accurate delivery of setup requirements.
• Due to the nature of this role, flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster is essential, including morning, afternoon, evening, and the occasional overnight shift.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role or environment is desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks in a physical work environment pushing, pulling and lifting up to 20kgs.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to create and work in a safe environment.
• Ability to listen to instructions and achieve tasks within set timelines.
• Immaculate personal presentation & grooming to meet 5 Star Standards.
• Personality and passion for turning the ordinary into extraordinary.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Ages 18 years or older.
