MWG Mining is a young and innovative company experiencing rapid growth. Our group's operations span mining services, maintenance services and accommodation, delivering innovative solutions across these sectors.

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team to deliver solutions to the group. If you are passionate about being a key player in a close-knit team and have a proven track record of managing accounting functions, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with us and help shape our future. You will play a crucial role in our financial operations, managing key accounting responsibilities and contributing to our continued success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial and management reports
  • Managing weekly cash flow forecasts and payments
  • Overseeing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Handling all balance sheet reconciliations, including inter-company transactions

Skills and Experience

We're looking for a candidate who is highly organised, detail-oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Proficiency with Xero
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Exposure to mining contracting companies – desired

Experience in payroll, working with multi-location teams, and exposure to resource industry is a plus.
