About the Role:

Engytech Group is currently seeking a highly experienced Process/Mechanical Engineer to support a bauxite mining project entering its feasibility and FEED stages. This position requires a technically skilled professional with proven expertise in beneficiation processing, mechanical systems, and Australian mining projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading both local and international teams and act as a bridge between the client and engineering design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the process and mechanical engineering aspects of a bauxite beneficiation project in compliance with Australian mining and engineering standards.

  • Deliver and oversee all FEED phase activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.

  • Provide technical clarifications to clients and internal/external design teams across various project phases.

  • Coordinate and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team across local and international locations.

  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements and Australian regulatory frameworks.

  • Oversee the development, accuracy, and submission of all required documentation deliverables (drawings, datasheets, technical specs, etc.).

  • Maintain a strong focus on paperwork compliance, quality control, and audit-readiness throughout all project phases.

  • Work closely with project management and business development to address technical risks and ensure engineering best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process/Chemical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in process or mechanical engineering roles, with at least 5 years on Australian mining projects.

  • Demonstrated experience in bauxite beneficiation or similar mineral processing operations.

  • Proven background in FEED stage engineering, particularly within the Australian regulatory and industry framework.

  • Experience managing and leading multicultural and cross-functional teams, both onsite and remotely.

  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, mining codes, and engineering practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and review detailed engineering documentation.

  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail, compliance, and safety.

Preferred:

  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or eligibility.

  • Experience liaising with Australian clients, regulators, and local authorities.

  • Familiarity with document control systems and HSE auditing.
