About the Role
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to start their career in the residential construction industry. As our Office Junior, you'll play an important role in supporting our team, ensuring our office runs efficiently, and learning the essential foundations of construction administration.
We're looking for someone with the right attitude: friendly, organised, willing to learn, and ready to grow with us.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other enquiries professionally.
- Manage data entry and maintain accurate databases.
- Coordinating building and construction documentation to support timely project delivery
- Managing a portfolio of jobs and applying for, securing all relevant building and construction related documents, to ensure the timely achievement of a building permit.
- Experience with building permits and construction documentation is preferred but not required
- Maintaining professional internal and external relationships with teams such as engineers, drafting, estimating, councils & contractors
- Applying for & managing plumbing permits
- Staying organised and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting the wider team and general admin with day-to-day tasks
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
