Intrinsic Project Pty Ltd is looking for dedicated Home Improvement Installers to join our dynamic team, offering skilled installation services in diverse residential and commercial projects.

Task & responsibilities

  • Review project blueprints and site conditions to ascertain installation requirements for insulation and home improvement.
  • Prepare installation sites, including scaffolding setup and site safety measures.
  • Install a variety of insulation types to improve building resistance against environmental factors.
  • Apply solar control films to windows and execute tasks involving cutting and fitting materials to designated sizes and shapes.
  • Install and adjust home improvements such as awnings, curtains, blinds, security screens, and shower screens using appropriate tools.
  • Perform detailed fittings for mechanical components like locks and pull-cords.
  • Ensure proper installation of waterproofing materials for home fittings.
  • Drill and secure installations into various surfaces and structures, maintaining high workmanship standards.
  • Apply waterproofing solutions and flashings to enhance the durability of installations
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and contribute to a tidy and secure work environment.
  • Liaise with team members to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed on time.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays when necessary.

Qualification & experience

  • Minimum one year of relevant experience and/or AQF Certificate II or III or equivalent
  • Proven ability to work with a range of hand tools and installation equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to navigate unexpected challenges during installations.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.
  • Passion for improving homes and enhancing building functionality.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varied job tasks and site conditions.
  • Possess or obtain necessary registration or licensing as required.
