We are seeking 2-3 Civil Laborers / Multi-skilled Operators to assist with Airfield Lightingworks at Townsville Airport. You will play a crucial role in operating a variety of heavy machinery and plant equipment to support our civil earthmoving operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely and efficiently operate a range of earthmoving equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance and pre-start checks on all plant and equipment
  • Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance requirements
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider construction team to deliver project outcomes

Essential Requirements:

  • Preferred - Experience in Bobcat including bucket, broom, and profiling attachments - wheeled and tracked bobcats.
  • Preferred  - Experience in Excavator operations.
  • Physically fit - participate in manual labour.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bobcat Licence
  • Excavator Licence
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Civil construction knowledge.
