Sales Estimator - Residential Home Builder | Western Sydney
Are you an experienced Sales Estimator looking to join a reputable residential builder with a strong pipeline of custom and volume homes? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, fast-paced team where your estimating expertise and attention to detail will make a real impact.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for preparing accurate sales estimates, managing variations, and providing cost breakdowns to support the sales and pre-construction process. Working closely with the Sales, Drafting, and Construction teams, you'll ensure every project is priced efficiently, competitively, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed sales estimates, BOQs, and pricing documentation using Databuild and Onsite Companion
- Review drawings, tender documentation, and specifications to ensure accurate take-offs and pricing
- Manage variations, client requests, and tender adjustments throughout the pre-construction phase
- Liaise with suppliers, trades, and internal departments to confirm pricing and product selections
- Maintain and update costing databases and supplier pricing structures
- Provide clear, accurate information to the Sales and Design teams to support client decision-making
About You:
- Proven experience as a Sales Estimator within the residential building industry (volume or custom homes)
- Strong working knowledge of Databuild and Onsite Companion systems
- Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to problem-solve proactively
