About the role

DTS Transport, a leading provider of reliable road transport services, is seeking a qualified HR Truck Driver/Crane operator to join our dynamic team. As an HR Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering goods safely and efficiently across North Brisbane/Sunshine Coast and the surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate heavy vehicles, to transport goods to various destinations
  2. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  3. Plan and navigate the most efficient routes to deliver goods on time
  4. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding the operation of commercial vehicles
  5. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, delivery details, and any incidents or issues encountered
  6. Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as required by Hi Ab Crane.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

What we're looking for

Possess a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license with a clean driving record.

Must Have a CV Crane ticket

  1. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe driving practices
  2. Effective time management and problem-solving skills to navigate unforeseen situations
  3. Good physical fitness and the ability to handle the physical demands of the role
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  5. Familiarity with the road transport industry and the ability to operate a range of commercial vehicles
