About Us
Hillside Meat Processors (HMP) is a well-established export meat processing plant located two hours south of Perth, in the Wheatbelt region.
We take pride in producing premium-quality meat products and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed Plumber (or equivalent experience) to join our maintenance team.
The Role:
As part of the site maintenance team, you'll be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems and fixtures across the plant.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and repairing water, drainage, and sanitation systems
- Working with hot water boilers, washdown and irrigation systems
- Maintaining effluent treatment and food processing equipment
- Assisting with general building maintenance and production support
- Working safely around livestock and food production areas
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is safety-conscious, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential:
- WA Plumbing Licence or relevant industry experience
- White Card / Blue Card
- Minimum 3–5 years' plumbing experience
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Highly regarded:
- Experience with EuroPress or INOXpres stainless piping systems
- Leak detection and repair skills
- Work at Heights, Confined Space or Forklift tickets
- Previous experience in food processing or industrial environments
