Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team in Melbourne. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services on residential and commercial projects. Candidates with additional carpentry knowledge will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

● Prepare, clean and sand surfaces prior to painting.

● Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative finishes.

● Mix and match paint colours to achieve the required finish.

● Carry out minor carpentry tasks as needed to prepare and repair surfaces.

● Safely use hand and power tools.

● Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety standards.

● Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

● Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent).

● At least 3 years of proven experience in painting and decorating.

● Carpentry knowledge and practical experience are essential.

● Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

● Ability to work flexible hours if required.
