We are looking for a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team and contribute to the excellent care we provide to our community.
Role Overview:
As a Practice Nurse, you will work closely with our clinical coordinator and general practitioners to provide a wide range of clinical services. This role requires someone who is passionate about patient care and ready to make a real difference in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform treatment room procedures including dressings, removal of sutures, and iron infusions.
• Conduct ECGs, spirometry, and audiology testing.
• Develop and manage Chronic Condition Management Plans (CCMPs).
• Carry out health assessments and driver's licence medicals.
• Assist with pre-employment and diving medicals.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of doctors' and nurses' rooms.
• Manage patient recalls and follow-up care.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of vaccines in line with cold chain protocols
• Triage patients.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Police check and current working with children check.
- Minimum of five years nursing experience
- Immunisation experience (children and adults).
- Current CPR certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our doctors.
- Experience with Best Practice software (desirable).
- Availability on Thursdays and Fridays.
- Willingness to undertake additional training and upskilling
