IT Manager

The IT Manager leads the overall technical operations, engineering systems, and smart infrastructure of the private estate. The role ensures all technical services—including smart home automation, IT systems, AV, and security technology—are efficiently integrated, maintained, and aligned with the luxury, safety, and privacy standards of a VVIP estate. The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and technological security throughout the estate.

EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 10–15 years of technical leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management position in high-end residential estates, royal residences, luxury hospitality, or smart property management

· Extensive hands-on experience managing technical systems, infrastructure, BMS, IT & AV, and preventive maintenance programs.

Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and strategic technology projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage Microsoft 365 and SharePoint

· Administer Microsoft 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings.

· Configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and permissions.

· Develop and manage document management workflows and approval processes.

· Ensure data governance, compliance, and backup strategies are effectively implemented.

· Provide user training and support for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint applications.

· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Microsoft support when necessary.

ERP Implementation and Management – Odoo

· Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Odoo ERP system, including requirements gathering, configuration, and deployment.

· Customize Odoo modules to align with organizational processes and reporting needs.

· Integrate Odoo with other business systems and data sources.

· Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls across modules.

· Conduct user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

· Continuously evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Technical & Engineering Oversight

· Full responsibility for estate-wide technical systems, including electrical networks, mechanical plants, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency systems.

· Oversight of installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all MEP and smart technologies.

· Ensure all systems are efficient, energy-optimized, and well-integrated.

Smart Systems & Automation

· Deep understanding of home automation platforms (e.g., KNX, Control4, Lutron, Savant).

· Integration of smart lighting, climate control, security systems, audio-visual solutions, and remote management apps.

· Oversight of network infrastructure, ensuring data security and seamless system connectivity.

IT & Cybersecurity Management

· Ensures secure and reliable estate IT systems, including server infrastructure, LAN/WAN, cloud systems, and device management.

· Leads initiatives to maintain cybersecurity, access control, and data protection for the estate and its residents.

· Coordinates with vendors and telecom providers to ensure robust and secure internet and connectivity services.

Project Management & Procurement

· Leads technical projects, renovations, and system upgrades from concept to completion.

· Manages budgets, vendor negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), and contractor performance.

· Oversees procurement of technical equipment and services aligned with estate standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance

· Ensures all engineering and technical operations adhere to local and international HSE standards, Civil Defense requirements, and estate protocols.

· Conducts regular risk assessments, technical audits, and system inspections to ensure compliance and safety.

Leadership & Team Management

· Leads and manages multi-disciplinary technical teams, including engineers, IT staff, AV technicians, HVAC teams, and external service providers.

· Provides training, development, and performance evaluation for technical staff.

· Acts as a technical advisor to the estate leadership and supports decision-making with data-driven insights.

Discretion & Service Orientation

· Maintains the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in a VVIP environment.

· Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling urgent requests, special events, and technical emergencies.

Understands the need for silent service delivery in luxury and VVIP environments.
