Plastic Welder

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Plastic Welder to join our clients growing team. In this role, you'll be working on specialised components that go into fire engine trucks – work where precision and quality really matter.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welding and fabricating plastic parts and assemblies for fire truck applications.
• Interpreting drawings and work instructions to complete jobs accurately.
• Carrying out modifications, repairs, and quality checks on existing parts.
• Safely operating welding tools and keeping equipment in top condition.
• Working alongside a small, dedicated team to deliver on tight deadlines.
• Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and compliant with WHS requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience in plastic welding (minimum 3–5 years).
• Hands-on skills working with plastics such as PE, PP, and PVC.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Previous exposure to fabrication, tank building, or piping systems (an advantage).
• Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and contribute to a team.
• Safety-focused mindset and reliable work ethic.
