Sydney Great Harvest Church is seeking a dedicated full-time Assistant Pastor, called by God, to serve alongside the Senior Minister in providing pastoral care, teaching, and spiritual leadership to our congregation.

Remuneration: Total remuneration: $77,000

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Theology or equivalent qualification

Minimum of two years' ministry experience (preferably in a pastoral role)

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team ministry setting

Demonstrated ability to communicate and build relationships across different age groups (youth, young adults, families, and elderly members)

Korean language fluency is required

Responsibilities:

Assisting the Senior Minister in leading worship services, preaching, and teaching as assigned

Providing pastoral care through visitation, prayer, counselling, and support for members in need

Coordinating and leading specific ministry areas (e.g., children's ministry, family ministry, or small groups) depending on gifting and church needs

Supporting Christian education and discipleship programs, including Bible studies, leadership training, and membership classes

Assisting in the planning and execution of church events, retreats, and outreach activities

Collaborating with the Senior Minister, church staff, committees, and lay leaders to further the mission and ministry of the church
