Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to assist in the efficient operation of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability and flexibility to cover sick/annual leave required .

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory.

- Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently.

- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns.

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.

- Perform routine pharmacy tasks, such as restocking shelves, catalogues and managing drug storage.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.

- Previous experience is advantageous

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in computer systems and pharmacy software.

Experience with FRED dispensing software or similar pharmacy management systems
