The College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) is responsible for intensive care medicine specialist training and education in ANZ. With over 1300 members, and a similar number in training, we strive to support the capability of our membership to deliver critical care to their patients.
CICM provides a high-quality training program, supervision in practical aspects of training and administration of examinations and workshops. Reporting to the Assessments Manager, you will join a team charged with the delivery of all College examinations. The core functions of this role are ensuring the end to-end delivery of the annual examinations program and administrative support to the associated committees.
Joining our expanding Assessments team will see you be involved in:
Exam Planning & Execution
- End to end examinations delivery, involving venue sourcing and co-ordination, face-to-face/online delivery co-ordination, and resource co-ordination such as materials, equipment, staffing and transport.
- Production, maintenance and distribution of all examiner and candidate documentation, from single correspondence to e-newsletter content and examination packs and certificates.
- Maintaining candidate database information, including examination attempts and outcomes.
- Examiner co-ordination and support, including policy and process support, attendance scheduling and travel arrangements.
Examination Committees
- Liaison and support for Committee leaders, to schedule meeting dates, prepare agendas and supporting documentation, complete minutes and support outcomes for examination committees.
- Ensure all tasks lists are recorded, communicated and completed, with committee members being made aware of their responsibilities.
- Assist with Board and other report compilation.
You will bring…
- 2 years + experience from a professional environment, in a similar co-ordination, administration and stakeholder management role.
- Excellent event planning and organising abilities coupled with exacting attention to detail.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, and being a person who can deliver an exceptional service focused experience for our candidates and examiners.
- Be able to work outside of normal working hours during exam periods including weekends, with the ability to travel interstate.
- Intermediate Word, Outlook, Excel, Access and Teams.
- Crucially you will be able to work autonomously, be adaptable and make sound decisions under pressure, you will also be a person who values and contributes to a cohesive team.
