About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Music Performance Coordinator to nurture student talent and coordinate a wide range of musical experiences across the School. This role plays a pivotal part in fostering a vibrant and inclusive music culture, coordinating ensembles, performances, and events that enrich student learning and engagement.
The successful applicant will:
- Teach classes as allocated and contribute to the School's Praise and Worship program
- Lead and support a variety of music ensembles, ensuring high-quality rehearsals and performances
- Mentor conductors and peripatetic tutors within the program
- Plan and coordinate key music events, showcases, and performance opportunities
- Collaborate with the Head of Performing Arts on long-term strategic development of the program
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to combine teaching with leadership, shaping the growth and sustainability of the School's music offerings.
About You
- NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher (minimum), Accomplished Teacher preferred
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in a similar role or in coordinating ensembles (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong professional relationships
- Commitment to supporting the individual needs of students and nurturing their musical growth
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a thriving Performing Arts team
