Who you are

At Humanforce, our Senior Project Managers take ownership of high-value, complex implementation projects, driving strategic project delivery and ensuring seamless configuration and adoption of Humanforce solutions. The role will lead multiple work-streams, engage with senior stakeholders, and provide mentorship to project managers while ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with customer success objectives. Senior Project Managers also contribute to refining project delivery frameworks and enhancing the overall efficiency of the Professional Services team.

What you will do

  • Project Delivery:
    Ensure our projects reach completion on schedule and within budget, guiding the journey from the exciting kick-off to the triumphant go-live moment.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
    Maintain regular communication with our customers, managing their expectations and ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with sales teams, consultants, and stakeholders for seamless project delivery while uncovering new service opportunities.
  • Resource and Team Management:
    Partner with internal colleagues to effectively allocate resources, ensuring successful project execution and any necessary customisations.
  • Process Improvement and Quality Assurance:
    Lead efforts to refine processes for enhanced project outcomes, focusing on key performance indicators like timelines, utilisation rates, and customer feedback.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    Proactively identify and manage potential project risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures while escalating significant risks as necessary.
  • Financial Management:
    Oversee project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure ongoing financial accountability.
  • Change Management:
    Develop change management plans that guide our clients through new system implementations, making transitions as smooth as possible.
  • Continuous Learning:
    Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and share insights to improve project delivery and promote team development.
  • Leadership and mentoring:
    Mentor junior team members or new project managers, providing guidance and support to enhance their project management skills.

What you'll need

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing complex software implementation projects, ideally within a vendor environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple software implementation projects simultaneously.
  • Strong grasp of software project management principles and methodologies. Certification of PRINCE2 or other relevant project management certifications, such as PMP or Agile, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a keen eye for detail and employing critical thinking.
  • Robust organisational and time management capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record in researching information effectively and applying it to practical challenges.
  • Driven to deliver results and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Some 'nice to haves'

  • Experience in HCM, WFM, payroll, is highly regarded.
