Blinds Installer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Blinds Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of window treatments—including blinds, shades, shutters, and curtains—in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and the ability to provide excellent service while working independently or as part of a team.

1. Measure windows and openings accurately to ensure proper fit for blinds and other window coverings
2. Install a wide range of window treatment products (e.g., horizontal/vertical blinds, roller shades, shutters, drapery hardware)
3. Inspect installation sites and determine appropriate mounting methods and materials
4. Safely use hand and power tools to complete installations to manufacturer specifications
5. Troubleshoot installation challenges and make adjustments as needed
6. Provide customers with product guidance, maintenance tips, and usage instructions
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area in clients' homes or businesses
8. Document completed installations and submit necessary paperwork or digital records
9. Load, transport, and unload products and materials
10. Adhere to all company safety procedures and industry best practices

Some of the previous work experience would be HIGHLY recommended and favorably looked upon.

1. Previous experience in window treatment installation, carpentry, construction, or related field preferred
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
3. Ability to read measurements, product instructions, and basic diagrams
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including at heights and on ladders
6. Valid driver's license and clean driving record
7. Ability to lift and carry heavy blinds and install on ladders and scaffolds
8. Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
